Apply to Continuing Studies

Continuing Studies offers flexible programs and courses designed to help you launch or advance your career–one skill at a time. Whether you're upskilling, reskilling, stacking, or exploring a new direction, you can take a single course or complete a full program to meet your goals.

Steps to apply

Step 1: Check admission requirements.

Each program has its own admission requirements, which are listed under the "Admissions" tab of the program listing.

Step 2: Submit your application.

Domestic and international applicants can apply online and submit supporting documents through the Continuing Studies Applicant Form, which is accessible from most mobile or desktop devices using a browser.

Application Fees 
Application fees are non-refundable.

  • Domestic Students: $40
  • International Students: $155 

You can pay your fees directly through the Continuing Studies Application Form with Visa or MasterCard. 
 

Step:4 – Submit supporting documents. 
  • Some programs require additional supporting documents to show that you meet the admission requirements.
  • You can submit supporting documents when or after you submit your application.
  • Refer to the "Admissions" tab of the program listing.
Step 5: Accept your offer. 

We will email you your Offer of Admission. Please accept your offer promptly and submit payment of any commitment fees that are due.
 

Step 6: Get started!
  • Your program coordinator will provide you with your course schedule and let you know if registration is required for your program of studies.
  • International students: Visit the Arrival Guide to learn more about the resources available to help you prepare for arrival in Vancouver.
  • Attend orientation to get to know the College and meet your peers.
  • Follow us on social media for upcoming events.

Many programs accept applications on an ongoing basis, while others have competitive entry. Apply early to secure your seat.

Application status

To change your program, contact us at csgeneral [at] langara.ca (csgeneral[at]langara[dot]ca) for help. You can check your status or withdraw your application by following the steps below: 

  • Within one week of applying, you will receive instructions to login to your account in the Continuing Studies Applicant Portal where you can check your application status under "My Applications".
  • To withdraw your application, click on the down arrow to the right and select 'Submit Withdrawal'.

Domestic and International Students

Many of our programs are open to both domestic and international students.

Canadian citizens and those who have permanent resident (landed immigrant) status in Canada can enroll as domestic students. We may request proof of citizenship or permanent resident status.
