Langara is committed to providing students with the best experience during their time at the College. If you would like to bring forward a question or concern, please read the information below before going ahead.

The College will not accept or address anonymous or third-party questions or concerns. You must be a student and give your name and ID number when writing to the College.

The College cannot accept questions or concerns about the Langara Students' Union (LSU). The LSU is a separate organization from the College. 

Send an email about your question or concern to the relevant department listed in the dropdown menu below so that it can be addressed in as soon as possible. Send the email from either your myLangara or preferred email address to help with a quick a response. Outline your question or concern and explain what you are looking for. Include:

  • Your name and student number
  • Your questions or a description of your concerns
  • The outcome you are seeking
  • Your contact information
  • If you would like a written response to your email
  • If you would like to ask for a meeting

You may bring a support person to meetings, but a support person does not take part in the meeting.

You can withdraw your email at any time by sending another email to the same address you originally emailed.


Write a good email. Make sure your email is business-like and respectful. There are lots of resources online to help you write a good email to express your questions or concerns. This page from Purdue University, is a good place to start for writing business letters. The University of Maryland also has helpful information.

Do not include threats or foul language. If you make threats or use foul language, your behaviour may be subject to action under the Standards of Student Conduct policy.

 


Where to bring your question or concern. The list below provides links to general department email addresses. If you would like to write to a department supervisor, send an email to the department email asking for the name and email address of the supervisor.

Be sure to check the department website before writing your email so you are sure you are writing to the correct department and that your questions or concerns are not already addressed on the website. Links to department websites are below.
